>> Shop Small Saturday Market: Head over to Germantown to Buffalo Creek Farm & Creamery to sample loads of their fresh goat’s milk cheese, as well as meet folks from several other small businesses who sell their products in Buffalo Creek’s farm store, including Long Family Farm, Tyson Farm, Running Pine Farm, Dinner Time Chimes, Crooked Run Vineyards, Sweet Mornings Farm, VineWorks, and Shady Creek Farm. Piemonte Farm, a fellow cheesemaker from the NC Cheese Trail, will be also be on hand with their artisan aged cow cheese and “maybe more surprises”. Chef Kevin of The Screaming Radish food truck will also be there cooking up delicious cuisine with products from local farms and family owned companies for customers to purchase and enjoy for lunch while relaxing on the farm.

@ Old Salem Museum & Gardens:
>> Self-Guided Holiday Tours: A visit to Old Salem during the Holiday Season is a step back to a time when the holidays were simpler, less stressful and more focused on faith and family. Traditional wreaths hang from the doors, lampposts and fence posts are wrapped in their winter greenery, the smell of fresh baked treats emanate from the bakery warming even the coldest nose, and the sound of music drifts through the air to draw you into the holiday spirit. Follow the progression of Christmas decorating and how it changed over time, with more elaborate decorations in the 19th century buildings.
