Co-founders, Philip Pledger + Anthony Petrovic and their hard-working volunteer crew have put together a stellar lineup of local, regional, national, and international artists that will be serving up incredible sounds spanning genres from americana to folk to electronic to garage to R&B and more. >> Building $ Sustaining a Music Community:
Join Phuzz Phest organizers for their first-ever festival panel discussion on the topic of building and sustaining a vibrant music community. The panel will be moderated by Eddie Garcia of 88.5 WFDD & 1970s Film Stock, and will include panelists from all across our great state of North Carolina. The discussion will address the complexities of creating arts culture and communities in the current climate, exploring the challenges of audience-building and financial sustainability, among other topics.

>> Winston-Salem Light Project presents Aluvio:
Presented annually by UNCSA lighting students, this year’s Light Project has transformed a hidden passage into a lush oasis of light and sound. Titled “Aluvio,” the event is taking place in the Cherry Street tunnel near the Downtown Embassy Suites through Saturday, April 16th.

Did you know nearly 1 in four children in Forsyth County suffers from hunger insecurity? In an effort to help combat this problem, Wake Forest’s Business School Student Government is hosting their Fit for Business 5-K benefiting the Forsyth Backpack Program. The Wake Forest School of Business Fit for Business 5k will run through Wake’s beautiful campus.

>> Slow Ride – A Community Bike Ride with Phuzz Phest and Cycle Your City:
Meet up with other Phuzz Phans to enjoy a community bike ride, led by Greg Waddell of Cycle Your City bike shop. The “Slow Ride” will begin at Wake Forest Innovation Quarter and take riders on a leisurely ride around Winston-Salem’s beautiful downtown cityscape. Get some exercise and meet like-minded music fans at this fun afternoon event! Bring your bike, helmet and water bottle to Cycle Your City bike shop at 362 Patterson Avenue in Wake Forest Innovation Quarter at 1:45pm. The group will leave at 2:00pm, and will arrive back at the bike shop no later than 4pm.
