A two-day fundraising event benefiting The Sergei Foundation. Established in 2009, The Sergei Foundation is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) organization that has kept hundreds of pets with their owners by assisting financially with emergency-level vet care or one-time sicknesses or injuries that would be inhumane if left untreated. Triad Dog Park Games is the only major fundraiser to support their cause. Expect loads of four-legged friends dazzling you in competitions like flyball, disc dog, and dock jumping along with agility 101 training to get your pooch in on the action.

>> The Arts Council Summer Parks Series presents “Film and Dance”
This free event kicks off with an opening act by the professional dancers of Fred Astaire Dance in Winston-Salem performing live with a tribute to dance on the silver screen. Riverrun International Film Festival will show the movie, Strictly Ballroom, a romantic comedy directed by Baz Luhrmann about an Australian championship ballroom dancer who wants to dance “his own steps”.
