>> Spring in the City: Fresh Air Kickback
Presented by the CNOTE Foundation, Spring in the City: Fresh Air Kickback is a celebration of the bubbling culture of Winston-Salem. Tonight’s event promises the area’s most followed food trucks, divine local beer, and the best fashion/beauty vendors all combined with North Carolina’s top music talent in one awesome Friday evening. In addition to being a great time and FREE, all proceeds go to local university endowments and student scholarships.| Details

Did you know that RiverRun International Film Festival, based right here in Winston-Salem, is one of the premier film festivals in the southeastern United States? Pretty cool, right? This weekend is your last chance to check out screenings of 2017 films like Tell Them We Are Rising and The Lost City of Z Details

Winston-Salem Light Project is a multi-media public art initiative using Winston-Salem, NC as the canvas. Events are designed and produced by the Lighting Department of the School of Design and Production at UNC School of the Arts. Since its start in 2008, WSLP has transformed buildings, parks, and city streets with lighting and projections, combining art and technology in unique, transformative ways. Make plans now to visit the Spring Friends of Central Library book sale. Leaf through literally tens of thousands of gently used books, magazines, CDs, records, DVDs and more. Shelves are re-stocked at the end of each day so you’ll definitely want to attend all three days of the sale. On Sunday all remaining items are half off or five bucks a bag (excluding special items and electronic media).  All proceeds support the new Central Library including the annual children’s summer reading program. | Details
